We will do an in class mini lesson on relating text to self, text to world, and text to text. I will use previous examples from other works we have read earlier in the year, and I will ask them to do the same for their works in their journals, while I go around the class making comments on their research and homework. After about 20 minutes, we will get back together to design a rubric. After finishing the rubric they may get into groups to discuss project work and homework
