Susan Bottrell
Susan began figure skating at the age of 6 and continued to skate throughtout her teen
years. She has completed numerous tests, including: Senior Bronze Dance, 6th Figure and Gold
Freestyle (CFSA - Canadaian Figure Skating Association). Furthermore, she skated in local, regional and Canadian Precision skating competitions.
She continuted to skate and teach for 4 years in Verdun, Quebec, Canada.
After taking a 10 year hiatus, she began teaching at Compuware Sports Arena in 1999.
Since 1999, Susan has continued to coach at Compuware Sports Arena.
Currently, She is the director of the Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs at
Compuware Sports Arena. In the past, she has taught Basic Skills classes for a number of
years with the Plymouth Figure Skating Club as well as Moves in the Field,
Freestyle, beginning Dance, Hockey Skills and Powerskating.
Also, she is an instructor for many of the Compuware Whalers Hockey Clinics and Hockey Schools
and she offers private lessons in Hockey Skills, Powerskating and Team
Development.
