My name is Halley Huber, I am 20 years old, and I am a Human Biology major finishing up my third year at the University of Michigan-Flint to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. I live in the Flint/Burton area, so I commute to school four days out of the week. I work at the Burton Home Depot as a cashier to help pay for my schooling and other expenses. I plan to continue working at the Home Depot until I am finished with school, because my work provides a tuition reimbursement for the end of each semester which is a huge help when paying for my classes.
|My Travels Within Germany
In August of 2018, my family and I took a trip to Dusseldorf, Germany, to visit my older brother, Nick. Nick has been in the Air Force for six years and is currently stationed in Germany for two years. My family made a road trip all throughout Germany, where we drove down to the southern part of Germany and made our way back up to Dusseldorf. We started our travels from Nick's house in Dusseldorf, to Cologne, next to Munich, down to Wurzburg, and then drove our way back up to Dusseldorf. We even took a day trip next door to the Netherlands, which was my favorite part of the trip. During our last few days in Germany, we got to visit Nick's air base to see where he works, what he does at work, and we met some amazing people that Nick gets to work with, who come from all over the country.
