Research Activities
Quasar Outflows - We are interested in a number of different aspects of quasars outflows: their geometry, their physical conditions, their velocities, how these are related to physical parameters (e.g., black hole mass, accretion rate), and how outflows affect the galaxy hosting the quasar.
Post-Starburst Quasars
Classes
AST 120:Survey of Astronomy - Introductory survey of astronomy for non-majors
AST 291:Supervised Study in Astronomy - Interested in doing research in astronomy for credit in the one of the above activities? Please contact Dr. Rajib Ganguly for possible openings in the group.
AstroNite - A free, biennial, family-oriented, open-house event done in collaboration with Long Planetarium for the International Day of Astronomy
