Doctor Who is a science fiction series originating in the United Kingdom that has existed for nearly 50 years. The story explains how the doctor an alien travels around all of time and space aboard his ship called the TARDIS. On his travels the Doctor often visits Earth and meets and acquires a companion to explore the whole universe and a season usually ends with him returning the companion to Earth a changed person. Doctor Who’s character of the doctor himself has remained possible through the idea of the Doctor regenerating whenever faced with imminent death and having his body change thus the actor can change throughout the many years the series has endured.
