Task
Your role will be to research possible Assistive Technology solutions for Robby for the upcoming AT Consideration meeting. For your research, you have been asked to consider a full range of Assistive Technology, from no/low tech to high tech.
The IEP team has determined that, in order to access the general education curriculum, Robby needs support in the following areas:
- Reading tools
- Mathematics tools
- Organizational tools
For each of these areas, you must find at least 3 tools that you believe are best suited to Robby’s needs.
You will create a PowerPoint presentation of your findings. Your presentation needs to include the cost of the tool and your rationale for choosing it.
The members of the AT consideration team that you will be presenting to includes Robby’s mother, his special education resource room teacher, and the school psychologist.
