Nintendo is the company behind most of the great consoles of the whole of the gaming scene since its inception basically. They created the NES, the Nintendo 64, the GameCube and the revolutionary Wii. You cant argue with the success this company has and you can actually give them credit for a lot of inovations in the gaming scene. Not only are they a console maker but also created the GameBoy and all of its iterations over the years, they created the single most iconic gaming persona in the industry, the one and only Mario! They are easily the oldest and most practiced out of the Trinity but they also have one thing that you dont see as redily in the other companies, a strong tie to the little kid inside all of us. Nintendo is famous for many things but for me they are famous mostly for creating games that you can play with your five year old child and have a great time! Games like Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Brothers, Donkey Cong and many many more. They havent created all of them but the Nintendo console is the one you think of when you think about those games from your childhood and thats something that Sony and Microsoft cant really grasp. At least not yet.
